I also received The Art of Toy Story 3 book (above), whilst I have loved all of Pixar's films, I have never got round to buying one of these books, so I was very happy to receive it. I didn't want to review TOY STORY 3. Now that Toy Story 3 has been released, I thought I'd post some of the character design work I did on the film. Working on the film as a character designer was a dream come true for me. The decision to start playing the .. Rex (Wallace Shawn), all throughout the Toy Story series, represented the innocently comedy character who always either agreed with others or refused to take sides. Anyways It made me want to draw up Woody once again. I thought I'd Sergio Leone him up a little. I finally saw Toy Story 3 and really dug the hell out of it. Pixar deserved the reputation they built for themselves as a storytelling titan during their initial run of titles, and one could make a case that everything through "Toy Story 3" was part of a cycle that is now concluded. A different take on what's usually a square shaped soundboard app, with some art direction by the Toy Story 3′s production designer. It is a cartoon about children's toys. A soundboard app developed for Disney Interactive by FunMobility. We all know by now that this Pixar company is the best at what they do. Unbelievably good film makingMy God! Live action filmatists, pick up the fuckin pace, please. As most of you know, I was fortunate to work on Toy Story 3 as a story artist, a film I'm incredibly proud of.
